[1] Plan of Action *may template ba ito?*
[2] TIMIT *malapit na tayong matapos magbasa, woot woot*
[3] Proposal *madugo na naman ito*
[4] Revised Timeline *ung makatotohanan naman ha, hehe*
[5] Flow Chart *optional lang daw. malamang sa haba ng listahan natin, optional nga talaga to, haha*
Ayan, go guys!
Cheer you!
*ym ym pa, magkakatabi naman, ~:> woot woot*
Eto na. Totoo na ito.
Sabi nga ni Mam Chris, ang petiks ng grupo namin. Masyadong laid back.
So puro numbers nga ito. Malulunod kami sa mga numbers. And we have to make sense from those numbers.
Ang dami palang vowel sounds. Hindi lang pala 11 tulad ng sabi ni Dr. Zafra. More than 20 ata ung nakasaad dun sa TIMIT na binasa namin. And dapat ung mga samples namin, well represented lahat ng mga phonemes. Wee. Si Dr. Zafra na ang bahalang pumili ng words.
Excited ako. Mukha lang hindi. Phew. Kelangan ko ng bumili ng laptop.
Goodluck team!

Set all the 11 vowel sounds with their corresponding Filipino spelling (one-to-one correspondence).
Look for algorithms that will recognize / extract vowel sounds from English loan words.
Issue: Standartdization or Automation?
Are we going to automate the standardization or are we going to automate the application of the standardization?
(Since manual standardization can be done)
What will be the final output? (clarify)
How will the vowels sounds of words borrowed from the English language be translated into Filipino?
Saan manggagaling ang speakers?
